Prosthetics

Prosthetics is a branch of dentistry focusing on the replacement of missing teeth and gums. The prostheses can be divided into two categories: fixed and mobile. Dental prosthetics is a science of re-establishing the physiological shape of the tooth that has been affected by the loss of dental tissues caused by caries, trauma, abrasion, as well as by the disorder in the development of dental structures. It may consist in replacing one or more lost teeth, the reconstruction of the dental arches and oral rehabilitation. The prosthetics of the 21st century, besides functionality, must satisfy also great aesthetic requests of the patients. Teeth and prosthesis aesthetics are our priority. We can divide it in fixed and mobile prosthetics.

Metal-ceramic crowns

Metal-ceramic crowns and bridges are now standard in dental prosthetics for strength and durability, aesthetics and function, and the most appropriate financial solution for oral rehabilitation.

Zirconium-ceramic crowns

Zirconium oxide ceramics features a high strength and dimensional stability, excellent biocompatibility (does not cause allergies and reactions surrounding tissue) and excellent aesthetics (Zirconia base under ceramic translucency allows a certain amount of light and white color, as opposed to metals in metal-ceramic solutions where occurs coloring the gum and sifting through the metal).

Full ceramic crowns

Full ceramic is the most appropriate solution for perfect aesthetics for the front teeth. Its color, translucency, opalescence, fluorescence and transparency most faithfully captures all the optical properties of a real teeth. We work with ceramic system with best aesthetic and physical properties.

Veneers

Veneers are ceramic caps on the front teeth and they have primarily esthetic function. Indications for veneers are damaged or chipped teeth, trauma or abrasion, teeth damaged by caries, pigmentation teeth that can not be solved by bleaching, to close the gap between the teeth, or simply if you want a nicer smile.

Mobile prosthetics

Mobile prosthetics include a group of devices that the patient can independently remove from his oral cavity. Partial prosthesis: prosthetic device replacing a certain number of lost teeth, it allows the patient to remove it independently. These prosthesis are made for patients who have a certain number of their own teeth, but their position does not allow the creation of a fixed bridge, whereas the application of implants is not possible because of the health conditions, lack of bones or financial possibilities.Total prosthesis: replacement of natural teeth and resorbed alveolar ridge, allowing the patient to perform oral rehabilitation. It is the simplest prosthetic solution that the patient can extract independently. Over the years we have less and less bones, and the prosthesis become more and more unstable, therefore it is advised to apply dental implants in order to improve their stability quality.

Prosthesis anchored on the dental implants

Prosthesis anchored on the dental implants. When the retention of the mobile denture is not sufficient, when it reduces the efficiency of chewing and lacks in stability, we suggest the prosthesis anchored on the dental implants.
